Planks are probably one of the more difficult exercises, but they are one of the most effective. Over the past two weeks, I have incorporated more and more planks into my workout routines, and I am beginning to tell a difference. I am able to hold an elbowed side plank for twenty seconds on both sides, and an elbowed plank for forty-five seconds. Everyday, I feel myself getting stronger and stronger.
One of the fitness challenges I am facing internally is to not have negative thoughts while planking. Whenever I feel my body start to shake and I am sweating profusely, I say to myself " Five more seconds stay with it for five more seconds.". Since I have started saying that, my time has improved.
